1) He transformed Lokoja city by construction of double Lane, street lights and beautiful street road throughout Lokoja Township.
2) His government sponsored payment of WAEC &Â NECO registration throughout his tenure to roughly about 50,000 students. Parents were relieved from the burden of paying for their children.
3) Construction of the magnificent Lokoja water works, a mega project which is popularly known as ibro water.
4) He brought life-line back to the traditional institutions with living wage pay to them. In fact, all grades of traditional rulers in the state had cars to ease their operations.
5) Civil servants salaries were paid as at when due. Staff welfare and training got priority attention and promotions and steps were pick almost immediately.
6)Â He established specialist hospital Lokoja.
7) Carried out a very successful screening exercise. No salaries was stopped throughout the duration of the exercise.
8Â He provided three hundred 300 boreholes schemes all through kogi state.
9) Construction of 1,200 housing estate (500 unit, etokiti, felele kaba road housing estate… Etc)
10) Construction of state house of assembly quarters.
11)Â 120 electrification schemes all through kogi state.
12) 350 kilometres of roads in all the local government. His administration concentrated majorly on road construction and the effect was felt in all the rural areas.
13) He graciously approved and released substantial amount of funds for appropriate construction /cleanup activities, such as ultra modern auditorium, science laboratory, a brand new 4KVA generating set towards the full accreditation college of nursing. This prompt the nursing and midwifery council of Nigeria in 2008 to give full accreditation to the college.
14) The national university commission decline the university of anyigba accreditation in many vital field of study. But through the singular effort of governor ibrahim idris, the university got multiple accreditation from the National University commission.
15) He constructed and build the magnificent ultra modern Confluence stadium popularly known as ibro stadium.
16)Â All the state tertiary institutions in the state were well funded during his tenure. No strike.
17) Constructed international mega market, known as new market or ibro market
18) it was during his era he started students bursary scholarship to about 60,000 students, this was a practical demonstration of the Governor’s commitment in education.
