It Will Be a Disaster In Kogi state if my party, APC Wins the election- Sen. Dr Alex Kadir
Former Senator Alex Kadiri, who represented Kogi East from 1999 to 2003, expressed his concern about the potential outcome of the Kogi State governorship election scheduled to hold November 11, 2023, if the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerges victorious.
During an interview with group of journalists in Abuja as reported by Vanguard, Kadiri criticized the APC’s performance in Kogi State over the past eight years, highlighting a decline in the quality of life for ordinary citizens, increasing violence, shootings, and killings in the state, as well as the lack of arrests or law enforcement responses.
He said, “As we are talking, APC my party is fielding a candidate to succeed Yahaya Bello. I think it will be a tragedy if my Party wins the election on the 11th of this Month. What have we done to justify being reelected to power again?”
Mr Kadiri expressed his concern about the state of the country, emphasizing the prevalence of violence and the seeming impunity of criminals in charge. He also used the opportunity to commended Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduagjan for her determination to fight for her stolen mandate.
